Bruce Scott, Founder
Bruce Scott started the original Scott Alarm in 1985. As a former burglary detective, Bruce saw the need to bring a quality product, outstanding service and affordable security to homes and businesses.
Over the next twelve years the company grew to become the forth largest alarm service with offices throughout the United States, and having a customer base of over 400,000.
In 1996 Bruce Scott sold the company, but continued to operate as President for almost two years before retiring. The company was eventually resold and the Scott Alarm name and logo were abandoned over time along with the commitment that had once been delivered to their many loyal customers.
Jeff Budd, V.P. of Installation & Service
In July of 2004, with his “non-compete” agreement fulfilled, Bruce Scott secured the company name, redesigned the logo and introduced the new Scott Alarm - better than ever! Then he set out to assemble the best team in the industry. His first and only picks were Jeff Budd and Bryan Pope!
Jeff Budd is the Vice President of Installation & Service for Scott Alarm. Jeff has over 26 years of experience in the electronic security business, and the last fifteen of those years have been with Scott Alarm. Jeff is known throughout the country as one of the most outstanding instructors in low voltage technology. His teaching keeps Scott Alarm at the head of the class in serving our clients with the best technicians in the business.
Bryan Pope, Director of Operations
Bryan Pope is the Director of Operations for Scott Alarm. In 1993, Bryan began his career in the security industry with Scott Alarm. His travels & dedication over the last thirteen years have taken him and his career through all aspects of the home technology field. In 2005, he returned to Scott Alarm as the Director of Operations. His knowledge and background in this industry is invaluable. Providing the highest level of quality and performance to our clients while working with the latest technology is paramount to Bryan and his team.
